INFORMATION LETTER

    The Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak, in cooperation with the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, announces the organization of the International Scientific-Practical Conference entitled “ISLAMIC SCHOLAR  QAWAMUDDIN  AL-ITQANI  AL-FARABI:  LIFE  AND LEGACY”, in honor of the 740^th anniversary of the birth of a prominent Islamic scholar, from the Kazakh steppe – Amir Katib Qawam al-Din al-Itqani al-Turkestani al-Farabi (1286–1357). ХХХІ International Scientific and Practical Conference will be held on April 7, 2026.

    The aim of the Conference:

   To broadly discuss the works of Amir Katib Qawam al-Din al-Itqani al-Turkestani al-Farabi in the fields of Islamic sciences, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Kalam, Arabic philology, and other disciplines, as well as the significance of his rich scholarly heritage; to present biographical data and related sources.

   Within the framework of the conference, presentations and discussions will be organized on the contribution of Islamic scholars originating from Kazakh land to the development of Islamic civilization, historical ties between Kazakhstan and Egypt, shared outstanding personalities, as well as issues related to the study and introduction of manuscripts into academic circulation.

    Domestic and international scholars, specialists in Islamic and Arabic Studies, university lecturers, and young researchers are invited to participate.

Working languages of the conference: Kazakh, Arabic, English, Russian. The conference will be held in both offline and online formats. We invite all interested participants to take part in the conference.

Attention to Presenters of Conference

    Authors bear full responsibility for the content of their articles. The Organizing Committee and Editorial Board reserve the right to select and publish submitted materials. Articles that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.

     The deadline for submitting academic articles for the International Scientific-Practical Conference is March 25, 2026.

     Structure of the Scientific Article:

• Abstract (150 words) should be provided in three languages: Kazakh, English, and the language in which the article is written.
• Keywords: 5-8
• Introduction: 200-250
• Justification of the research topic and the objectives and tasks of the scientific
• Methodology of the scientific
• Main part: research results and
• Conclusion and

     Requirements for article formatting:

• Page Settings: top margin: 2 cm; bottom margin: 2 cm; left margin: 3 cm; right margin: 1.5 cm.
• Font: font type: Times New Roman, font size: 12 pt
• Line Spacing and Layout: Line spacing should be single, paragraph indentation – 1 cm, and text alignment – The use of headers/footers and page numbering is not allowed.
• Quotations and the list of references must be formatted according to APA Style, 7th Edition.
• The file should be named with the first author’s full
• The length of the article should be 8–12 pages or more.
