Information about Egyptian University of islamic culture Nur-Mubarak

    Nur-Mubarak University is a higher education institution founded in 1993 by mutual agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Egypt. The highest governing body of the university is the Board of Trustees, which includes officials from both countries.

    The university’s educational programs are developed in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The university is among the TOP-20 universities in Kazakhstan.
   
   The university is located in the foothills of Alatau, in an ecologically clean area of ​​our city. The university includes: 2 academic buildings, a dormitory, a sports complex (football, volleyball, basketball courts, ice skating rink, gym), library, classrooms, student service center, canteen.

 

What specialties are available at Nur- Mubarak University?

The university trains specialists in 13 educational programs

Bachelor’s degree:

  1. Islamic studies (4 years) — Kazakh, English, Russian departments;
  2. Islamic studies (3 years) – Kazakh department, for madrasah graduates;
  3. Religious studies (4 years) – Kazakh department;
  4. Religious studies (3 years) – Kazakh department, for madrasah graduates
  5. Religious studies (2-3 years) – Kazakh department, second higher education;
  6. Theology (4 years) – Kazakh department;
  7. Theology (3 years) – Kazakh department, for madrasah graduates;
  8. Theology (2-3 years) – Kazakh department, second higher education;
  9. Translation (Arabic-English, English-Arabic) — 4 years;

How many points do you need to get to enter the university?

     The minimum score for admission to the majors of Islamic studies, religious studies and theology is 50. Foreign language: the minimum score in two foreign languages ​​is 75. In this case, you must score at least 5 points in each of the UNT exams and the creative direction.

When can current year school leavers apply for university?

This year, applicants who have graduated from high school must pass the UNT in approved subjects. Based on the UNT results, applicants can contact the university admissions committee from June 20 to July 5 to apply for a creative exam, as well as apply to participate in a competition for a state educational grant from July 13 to July 20.

How to get a state grant for education?

The university provides grants in all specialties. Applicants who have achieved the minimum score on the UNT and the creative exam passed in June will apply for participation in the competition for a training grant from July 13 to July 20. The candidate who scores the most points in the exams will be awarded a grant based on the results of the competition.

What documents are required for admission to the university?

1) Application;

2) Certificate or diploma (original);

3) 8 photographs measuring 3×4;

4) Medical certificate in form 075-U;

5) Certificate of vaccinations form 063;

6) A copy of your ID and other documents is required.

Will I be given a place in the hostel if I am accepted to the university?

The university has a dormitory for 610 places. First of all, first-year students will be fully provided with a hostel. Other courses are awarded based on social status.
